Megan Barbera is an Americana singer-songwriter whose music lives in the space between longing and resilience. Drawing from her Colorado mountain roots and years spent carving out an independent path in the Hudson Valley music scene, Barbera writes songs that feel deeply personal while speaking to something universal — heartbreak, hope, reinvention, and the quiet beauty found in starting over. Megan is currently working on her fourth solo album, Blue Astor (release date TBA).

In 2022, Barbera co-founded The Glass Hours alongside songwriter Brad Armstrong. The duo quickly built momentum with their harmony-driven blend of Indie folk, country, and Americana, releasing two albums, The Glass Hours (2024), and Chapel Glass (2026), through Cornelius Chapel Records. Their music has been featured by Americana UK, The Bluegrass Situation, and Americana Highways. Megan tours extensively with The Glass Hours across the U.S. and Europe, performing everywhere from intimate listening rooms to nationally recognized festivals, while continuing to build a loyal grassroots audience.

Whether performing solo or with The Glass Hours, Megan Barbera creates songs that linger — cinematic, vulnerable, and quietly powerful. Her work carries the emotional weight of lived experience while remaining grounded in the timeless traditions of American songwriting.

Megan Barbera’s songwriting is arrestingly intimate.
